Xiaomi 14 Ultra tipped to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 1-inch Sony LYT900 primary sensor, quad curved display and more

The Chinese smartphone and consumer electronics manufacturer Xiaomi is nearing the launch of it’s much-awaited Xiaomi 13T series which will be making its debut on September 26 in the global market. Reports have started arriving that the company might also launch its Xiaomi 14 series in the month of November.

Well as per reports, Xiaomi is expected to launch only Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro in November while it will be releasing the Xiaomi 14 Ultra model in the first half of next year. Well for few years the company has been launching some of the best camera smartphones in the Ultra lineup and the same is expected from Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

Recently tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed some major details about Xiaomi 14 Ultra giving a hint to users as to what this upcoming device will be offering to it’s users. According to the tipster, Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be featuring a new 1-inch Sony LYT900 primary sensor that will be accompanied by three 50MP sensors. He also revealed that two of the sensors will be paired with 3x and 5x zoom lenses and the third sensor will be attached with an ultra-wide lens. Also, the 3x camera is said to support telephoto macro.

Apart from these camera specifications, the tipster has also revealed that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It will sport a 2K quad curved display that consists of a punch hole cutout for the selfie camera. Meanwhile, the curvature of the screen on all four sides will be minimal. The quad rear camera setup is said to be placed in a circular module just like the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone.
