The upcoming Apple iPhone 15 series smartphones will have a lot of common features which were only available in the Pro variants.
All the smartphones in the 15 series will have the dynamic island and the 48MP camera and this has forced Apple to think of a serious way to make a distinction between the Pro variants and the non-Pro variants.
Currently the Apple iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max smartphones are priced at $999 and $1099 respectively and the price hike will definitely bring the high end smartphones in the 15 series to a price higher than $1000.
Apple has been having some difficulties in the sales of the iPhone 14 Plus smartphones and is also working on the pricing strategies inorder to boost the sales of the upcoming Apple iPhone 15 series smartphones.
Since the report is based on an unauthorized Weibo post, it is not sure about whether Apple is planning for the price hike or not. We can confirm it in the future after more reports become available regarding the price hike.
