The Times of India accidentally shares a picture of reel Charles Sobhraj: Actor Randeep Hooda reacts
Recently, the French serial killer Charles Sobhraj was released from the Nepali jail. He is said to have completed almost a life term in Nepali jail as he spent 19 years there. Nepal considers 20 years to be a lifetime imprisonment. He was infamously known as ‘The Serpent’. He killed many and committed crimes in parts of South Asia.
A Hindi movie titled Main aur Charles was released in India in the year 2015. An Indian actor Randeep Hooda played the role of the notorious serial killer in this film. Today, after Charles’ release from jail, the Times of India wrongly published a photograph from a scene in the movie Main aur Charles. After which actor Randeep Hooda shared a post on Twitter commenting about the same. He questioned whether the TOI actually got confused between the real and reel Charles. He took it in a hilarious way and not otherwise. The actor’s post on Twitter was flooded with comments. People suggested that he is real more than the reality itself. Most users joked and laughed it off. It surely was a laughter riot on Twitter, the microblogging site.
Previously, a 2021 series titled ‘The Serpent’ was also released on Netflix. This series is suitable only for adult users.
His lawyer has stated that he will be deported to France soon.
