Planning on Going for a Trip? Check Out How Google’s Search Labs Experiment Can Help

Google’s all-new AI integrated services have been of great help for its users to get a more precise and insightful answer for their queries and it can do more than you expected.

Well, are you thinking of going for a local trip or for a long journey far away from your place? Confused about how to plan and what to buy before you go? Google’s Search Lab is here to assist you!

Here’s how it works.

Google’s Search Labs Experiment

Users can now plan their trips with Google’s generative AI in Search Labs to get more useful insights about the places they are going to visit. If you might be wondering about the best or the most affordable places where you can stay and have food, Google’s Search Labs experiment covers it. By searching not only the web, but also through reviews, photos, and business profiles, Google will be able to find for its users the best hotel and restaurants as per their requirements and needs.

Don’t know the tourist attractions of the place you are planning to visit? Google has this too covered. Simply type the question and all sorts of related questions like, when is the best time to visit the particular place or what is so special about this tourist attraction on Search and Google will give you the right answers for it, saving a lot of time that would have simply gone for planning.

Google users can also shop smarter with the all-new AI-integrated Search. Want to buy a Bluetooth speaker? Google will provide you with the best options along with the factors you should probably be considering or making a note of while buying a Bluetooth speaker. The Search result will also give its users relevant information like its product description, ratings, and recent reviews. This unique user experience is built on Google’s Shopping Graph which has a listing of over 35 billion products that are updated every hour.

The Search Labs experiment also brings in a new “Add to Sheets”  feature. With the new feature, users don’t have to waste their time copy-pasting their search results, but can simply tap on the “Add to Sheets” icons and bring the search results to a spreadsheet. This again helps in better planning and gives its users an easier way of sharing what has been planned with their friends or family.

The new features are currently only available in the US in English and users can access these features by selecting the “Labs” icon on Google app or in Google Chrome for desktop in a new tab. We can expect the feature to slowly be rolled out to other countries as well in the coming few weeks.
