Google’s Cybersecurity Certificate Program

Google’s all-new Cybersecurity Certificate Program is built by Google’s own cybersecurity experts and is designed in such a way that no prior experience is needed for learners to enroll for the program. The program is 100% online and learners are free to learn at their own pace. The course is designed to equip learners with job-ready skills that are required in the field of cybersecurity and on successful completion, endless opportunities will await them in many leading companies and services.

About the Course Syllabus

As mentioned, Google’s Cybersecurity Certificate Program is a completely online program and learners will be able to learn at their own pace. However, they are required to complete the program within a span of 3 – 6 months.

The course curriculum will include,

1. Foundations of Cybersecurity
2. Play It Safe: Manage Security Risks
3. Connect and Protect: Networks and Network Security
4. Tools of the Trade: Linux and SQL
5. Assets, Threats, and Vulnerabilities

8. Put It to Work: Prepare for Cybersecurity Jobs

At the end of the program, learners will also learn to use tools like SQL, Linux, Python, Intrusion Detection Systems(IDS), and Security Information and Event Management(SIEM) tools, which will make them capable in performing various tasks in the field of cybersecurity.

The program will also prepare learners for the CompTIA Security+ exam and on qualifying, learners will receive dual credentials and will be able to widen their scope of career.
