Vivo X Fold 3 Expected to Launch Early Next Year with Periscope Telephoto Camera: Shares Tipster
The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Vivo is in the works to launch the third foldable device in its X Fold series and now, the expected launch time-frame and a camera spec of the upcoming smartphone has been tipped.

Vivo X Fold 3 Launch Time Frame and Camera Spec Tipped
This update comes from Digital Chat Station, a tipster on the Weibo platform, who has tipped the specifications of the upcoming foldable smartphone in a comment posted as reply to a Weibo user’s question regarding the Vivo X Fold 3.
The tipster has mentioned that the upcoming Vivo X Fold 3 is probably going to have its launch in the beginning of next year, that is in Q1 2024 and, the device will be a thin and light weight foldable smartphone. He has also stated that the device will be an all rounder in terms of its specs and will have a periscope camera at its rear.

If we look into the camera module of the previous X Fold 2, it has a triple camera setup with a 50MP main camera, 12MP telephoto camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera. It lacked the periscope camera which was present in the first generation X Fold device. Vivo’s X Fold had a better quad camera setup with a 50MP main camera, 8MP periscope camera, 12MP telephoto camera and a 48MP ultrawide camera.
Digital Chat Station by his comment claims that Vivo is bringing back the periscope camera back to its X Fold series devices with the Vivo X Fold 3. Just to add, both the Vivo X Fold and X Fold 2 had a circular rear camera module.
As far as its specifications are concerned, nothing much about the foldable smartphone is known yet, apart from a few rumours and speculations. With more future updates, we’ll get to know more about the upcoming foldable.
