Upcoming Vivo X100 Pro Smartphone May have Satellite Connectivity: Suggested by Rumors

The Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo, is expected to unveil its latest X100 series smartphones in the month of November 2023, next month, and the series will include the X100, X100 Pro, and X100 Pro+ smartphones.

Now, based on a new update, one of the upcoming smartphone devices will be supporting a satellite connectivity feature.

Vivo X100 Pro – Satellite Connectivity

Smartphone manufacturers have started to release smartphones with satellite connectivity features and Vivo, one of the leading Chinese smartphone makers, as per rumors, is likely to bring satellite connectivity feature on its upcoming X100 Pro smartphone.

Recently, the device (with model number – V2309A) is said to have been certified by China’s MIIT certification authority and it is reported that the device may support a two-way satellite messaging feature. This will enable the users of the Vivo X100 Pro smartphone to both send and also to receive texts, pictures, videos, and voice recordings even in areas where a proper internet facility can’t be established.

To add, another report points that the smartphone is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, as expected, along with a separate Unisoc V8821 chip for satellite connectivity.

Regarding its other features, previous updates have stated the device to have an IP68-rated dust and water-resistant body, just like its predecessor, and the device is probably going to have dual stereo speakers, an X-axis linear motor, and also an IR blaster. The device might also have the Origin OS 4.0 custom skin as well.

For the cameras, a main camera of 53MP, a 50MP (IMX758) portrait camera, and a 64MP (OmniVision OV64B) periscope telephoto camera, are expected at the rear. Moreover, a 50W wireless charging support is also expected on the device.
