The Chinese smartphone maker, Tecno, has now officially announced the Android 14 release for its Camon 20 Premier 5G smartphone. It will have the brand’s own HiOS 13.6 custom skin on top of it, and the update will bring some interesting new features to the device.

Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G – Android 14 based HiOS 13.6 Update
The latest update for the Camon 20 Premier 5G smartphone from Tecno, will be introducing an enhanced Game Assistant Panel feature, which will be revolutionizing its user’s gaming experience. It will include functions that are most commonly used by gamers and this includes gaming functions like screenshots, recording, memory cleanup, and a brightness control feature. Different power modes like Power Saving, Performance, and Balanced Mode, will also be included.
The update will also be bringing a much more visually appealing Clock and Weather widget. It will include widget types like the Weather Calendar Clock Combo Card and the Dual City Weather Card. With the Weather Calendar Clock Combo Card, users will have access to a comprehensive time and weather information display option, whereas the Dual City Weather Card will display the weather information of the user’s local city and the additional selected city.
The multitasking experience of its users will also be improved with the update. With the updated Split-Screen feature, users will be able to adjust the proportion of the screen with the help of the draggable middle bar, and the Mini-Window functionality lets them open two mini windows, also enabling them to make the best use of dual apps.
The AI Gallery app has also received some enhancements, which will make it a customer favorite. The app will be able to collate memories and create themed videos, letting its users relive their most treasured moments of life.
Tecno has also confirmed that the Android 14 update with the HiOS 13.6 custom skin will also be rolled out to other Camon 20 series devices which includes the Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro, and the Camon 20 Pro 5G smartphones. It will however be rolling out in a phased manner.
