The Retirement Plan’s trailer released; features Nicolas Cage as a retired beach bum

The official trailer for the upcoming American comedy action crime film “The Retirement Plan” dropped today. The trailer featured Nicolas Cage as a retired beach bum. The film is set to release on 25 August 2023 in the United States.

The upcoming film is written and directed by Tim Brown. It features Ron Perlman and Ashley Greene alongside Nicolas Cage in major roles.

The film is produced by Doug Murray, William G. Santor, and Nicholas Tabarrok. The cinematography of the film is handled by Mark Irwin. The film is edited by Robert Brakey and Kurt Nishimura. The music on the other hand is composed by Roger Suen.

Other cast members include the likes of Jackie Earle Haley, Joel David Moore, Ernie Hudson, Grace Byers, Rick Fox, Lynn Whitfield, and Dax Ravina.

Speaking of the plot, Ashley played by Ashley Greene, and her young daughter Sarah, played by Thalia Campbell spirals up into a criminal enterprise that puts their lives at risk. She looks out for her estranged father, Matt, played by Nicolas Cage, who is the only person who can help her. As they reunite, they are tracked down by crime boss Donnie, played by Jackie Earle Haley, and his lieutenant Ron Perlman. Following up is Matt giving the bad guys what they deserve. It turns out that he is not as wacky as he appears to be.
