iQOO 12 tipped to launch in November

iQOO is reportedly working on the iQOO 12 series of smartphones. Last year, the brand unveiled the iQOO 11 and 11 Pro in the month of December. There have been speculations that the iQOO 12 lineup will be announced in the same month this year. A new leak by a Chinese tipster reveals that the iQOO 12 series will be unveiled earlier than its predecessor.

As per the new leak, the iQOO 12 series is tentatively scheduled to launch in November this year in the home market. For those who don’t know, its parent company Vivo is expected to announce the Vivo X100 series of smartphones in the same month.

The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are expected to feature the Dimensity 9300 chipset. Like the X90 series, the X100 duo will offer a top-notch photography experience. Both models are expected to feature the latest Vivo V3 imaging chip.

On the other hand, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will power the performance-driven iQOO 12 and 12 Pro phones. Recent reports have revealed that the iQOO 12 will have a 2K AMOLED display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The device is expected to run on Android 14 OS and Origin OS 4.0.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered device is expected to come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Its rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel OV50H main camera with OIS support, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom support. It is expected to support 100W charging.
